When is the 100% Pure Kona Coffee Marathon and Half Marathon?
Both events are on Saturday, November 9, 2019. The Marathon starts at 5:30 a.m. and the Half Marathon starts at 6:00 a.m.
How do I enter the 100% Pure Kona Coffee Marathon and Half Marathon
ONLINE: Registration for both events will be online at http://flpregister.com/ until Thursday, November 7, 2019.
IN-STORE: You can also register in person at Big Island Running Company at Coconut Grove Marketplace in Kailua-Kona.

Where can I pick up my packet?
Packet-pick will be on Friday, November 8, 2019 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in front of Big Island Running Company at Coconut Grove Marketplace in Kailua-Kona or on race day morning from 4:30 a.m. to 5:15 a.m. at the same location.
Can I do late registration?
Yes, late Registration is available at Packet Pick-up on both Friday and Saturday. Those who choose to do late registration are NOT guaranteed to receive a race shirt.
Can I get a refund or transfer to another year?
Entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Can I change to a different distance?
Yes. Half Marathoners can upgrade to the Marathon, they will need to pay the difference in price when they do so. Marathoners can downgrade to the Half Marathon but they will not receive a refund for the price difference.
When does the finish line close?
Ali’i Drive will reopen at 12:30 p.m. and all runners must be finished by this time or your finish time will not be counted. This means that there will be a 7-hour time limit for the Marathon and 6.5-hour time limit for the Half Marathon.
Where can I find results?
Results will be posted in real-time on https://pseresults.com/. We will also update the website as soon as possible with the results.
Do I get a medal for finishing the race?
All runners will receive a finisher’s coffee mug. We do not give out traditional medals.
What is the course like?
The 100% Pure Kona Coffee Run is located on Ali’i Drive. The course runs along the Pacific Ocean. It is a loop course with rolling hills throughout. Near the halfway point is a climb nearly 200 feet in elevation. The Marathon course will be a double loop.
How many aid stations will there be?
There will be 4 aid stations on the course, one approximately ever 1.5 miles. Since this is a loop course, the Half Marathoners will pass 8 aid stations and the Marathoners will pass 16 aid stations. Gatorade and water will be available at every aid station on the course.
What is the weather like on Race Day?
Temperature at the start can be as low as 70 degrees and will likely climb to the mid 80’s by Noon. Kailua-Kona is known for being sunny and warm. Don’t forget to check the weather forecasts prior to the race and make sure that you are drinking adequate fluids leading up to and on race day.

There is a lot directly behind Coconut Grove Marketplace. It is free to park there, and there is no time limit for the lot.
